First and Foremost
The idea to start this blog came as the culmination of a number of things. As I have started studying an accounting degree, I have started to somewhat neglect my writing (of plays, short stories, essays etc.) and have not done nearly as much as I used to during my school years.
And to be honest - I miss it.
Being able to create another world on the page is a great way to express yourself, that goes without saying, but to make concrete your thoughts, ideas and feelings at that specific time - that is where the true value lies. If I look back at various things I have written over the years, it gives me a very clear understanding of where I was at the time, what my outlook on life was and indeed what my stubborn opinions were! By comparing those to what I write today should become a near-perfect barometer of my growth, both in maturity, knowledge and life experience.
I don't intend to write to a specific time routine or on particular topics. I will simply write when I feel the need - when I have something to say. For now, I'll just leave you with one of my favourite quotes.
